Hello and good morning to all. Sorry for it being a few days for my post but I have been doing a massive house cleaning. By the time I was done I was exhausted and needed a nap. I got up and made dinner and have been sitting here working on my short story while eating butter flavored popcorn. I am doing okay so far mentally but still waiting for my medications to get into my system good and then I’ll be balanced out.
My writing is going along pretty good and I am excited and addicted. I can’t see myself doing anything else but writing. I have checked my writing through an app and it says that my readability is grade 6 or 7 so they are easy reads which is what I like because then most people can read my books. I don’t believe in using really big words and want them easy to read.
I woke up around nine o’clock this morning and the first thing I had to do other than using the restroom was taking my dogs out while trying to drink my first cup of coffee. It has been getting a little colder outside and feels like a winter morning with the temperatures being in the thirties all week overnight. So, since I don’t really like the cold due to my arthritis it gives me an excuse to stay in and work on my writing.
Since I started writing, I have become somewhat of a hermit because of my addiction to writing. I try to spend time with my husband and dogs as much as possible but he stays in his video games a lot so it gives me another excuse to sit at my desk and write. My day usually consists of working on the next short story, writing on the new book, and editing the finished book plus using social media to announce my progress and accomplishments.
I am pretty busy but still manage to keep the house cleaned and meals cooked. I manage the household money and make sure the bills get paid. I have plenty of books to write that will get me through the next year and look forward to the next adventure in writing. Well, I will stop here and wish everyone with a birthday today, “Happy Birthday” and everyone else a glorious day. Take care.
