It’s Monday!! I hope everyone has a great first day of the week. I woke up about an hour ago and noticed that it is very overcast outside and gloomy. I feel pretty good since I don’t have to get up early in the morning to take kids to school. Although, it did allow me to feel like a mother since I have to deal with infertility.

I love my great nephews to death, even when they are hellions at times. I love having kids around and watching my husband play games with them is even more fun. He is their favorite uncle and they also love him.

I am sitting here drinking my second cup of coffee trying to wake up because I have a doctor’s appointment this morning and then I get to come home and clean the rest of the house up before sitting down to get some work done. I have my list done and ready for the day’s work and will be getting things done today.

I am excited about getting some writing done along with editing a finished manuscript. I am close to getting both of them published and look forward to it. Money is tight but I am the budgeter and always stretch money to cover everything. I am waiting for my birthday and Christmas money from my dad to get any books that I have done published.

I have been working on some more short stories that will be another book, but some are for my website. It is now time to get ready for my appointment and I wish everyone with a birthday today a very “Happy Birthday” to everyone else an awesome Monday. Take care.

Hello to all my family and friends. It has been one exhausting weekend. First, there was the house cleaning for the weekend plus laundry, then our nephew and his three kids moved next door, and then trying to get our room cleaned and my desk set up and organized. There was no relaxation during the weekend.

My nephews soon to be ex-wife, who is under investigation for sexual child abuse and endangerment actually sent children services to take her children away from their father and put into states care. She is just so ignorant. She is not even stable herself so I guess she expects the state to take care of her children.

That has been the drama for the weekend. Once they didn’t take the children, she was trying to have my husband arrested for something he didn’t do. I honestly don’t know where her mind is. Then, she finally tells her husband, my nephew the truth that she is unsure who the father is of all three children. She has done nothing but hurt him and the children are suffering because of it.

On to other things, I have now figured out how to get my writing done and will be implementing it tomorrow. I have been doing some editing still on “The Battle for Joshua” and a little writing here and there on my next book. It seems to be my coping mechanism where I can get away from this world and go to a world I create for relaxation.

It has been such a pleasure writing my stories that I have found a happy place for me to be. My family has loved reading my short stories and the first two books that I have published but I want the whole world to read my books and enjoy my stories. I plan to have at least another two to four books published by the end of the year.

I am currently looking for beta readers who would like a copy of my book to read in exchange for a review written on Amazon. I think everyone especially women should read my first book titled “How I Survived: Prostitution”. It is written based on true events and would give women an insight as to the life a woman must live on the streets.

Well, for now, I must end this here even though I love talking to my readers and connecting but there are things I must get done. I wish everyone with a birthday “Happy Birthday” and for everyone else to have an awesome night. Take care.

Daily Journal 11/9/2017

Good Evening everyone. I do apologize for not keeping up with my posting due to issues and technical difficulties here at home. Things had gone haywire there for a minute and needed to be dealt with. Now that everything is getting back to normal, I will try to be here every day with updates.

I would like everyone to send prayers to our great nephew who is currently in ICU at the hospital and with a 50-50 chance of making it successfully. He is twenty-three with a wife and three small children. They were here on Sunday visiting and while the children were playing together, he thought he would show off for his oldest son with a bicycle.

He went to pop a wheelie on one of the bikes and fell the wrong way with his body landing on the end of the handlebars creating a circle mark on his abdomen right below his rib cage. Had he fallen a little harder it would have impaled him. He laid on the ground screaming for his wife and then went through changes like having to urinate suddenly and then wanting to pass a bowel movement to which never came.

The ambulance was called because he was screaming in pain. Before they showed up, he began throwing up. Once he was taken to the hospital, they tried to send him home stating he was having drug or alcohol withdrawals. This man has never done drugs and won’t even take a Tylenol. He drinks one beer a day just to relax after a day of hard labor.

Well, he then ended up in ICU when he began throwing up blood and fighting to breathe. His wife was going nuts because she knew something was wrong when he began turning yellow. The ICU doctor noticed his color change and difficulty breathing, so she sent him to get scans and found his abdomen swelling with blood or fluids. He was going downhill fast.

When his wife got back to the ICU unit to see her husband the doctor was waiting for her and stated that he had only one option and that was exploratory surgery to find the problem. There was no guarantee that he would make it off the table and everyone was very concerned. The doctor informed her that he had no other options or he would die.

He was finally put on a ventilator and life support before surgery and while in surgery, they found a hole in his intestines which was leaking into his abdomen. For the first three days in the hospital, they were giving him medication to make him pass a bowel movement which was forcing his fecal matter and urine out of the hole and into his body which made him septic.

They cut out the bad part of his intestines and sewed the rest back together and he is now in critical condition and still on life support. His color is slowly coming back but he also vomited aspirating some of his vomit which is dissolving in his lungs but pneumonia has begun to set in which makes recovery even harder.

Today they will be waking him up and seeing if he can breathe on his own but everyone is skeptical at this point. We will just have to sit and be patient for what the future holds. He is the sole provider for his family and since he has been cut open from chest to groin, they are not sure how they are going to pay their household bills since his recovery will be long.

My husband and I are taking care of their three kids while she stays at the hospital with her husband. She is already stressing about how they are going to pay their bills with him out of work while he recovers and heals. They are already a week in debt with no check for this week to help pay their bills.

If anyone out there can help this struggling family, I have created a GoFundMe campaign to help them out. No matter how much you can give would be greatly appreciated. I want to help raise money to take care of them for a few months while he recovers and gets back to work. I am posting the GoFundMe link below if you can help.

As for me, I am getting back to my writing now that everything is somewhat calming down. I am almost finished editing “The Battle for Joshua” and have started the fourth chapter of my next book which will be a series. I have a goal of publishing a book every month if not two.

When I write, I leave reality and live in the world I create. It is my getaway place when I want to disappear. It makes me happy and content. I still want to create an advanced reader team who would receive a free ebook as long as they can leave a comment on Amazon. If anyone is interested please message me.

Well, it is getting late and I have to get up early in the morning to take the kids to headstart and school. If you would like to help a struggling family who has fallen on hard times because of the husband being in critical condition, here is the link to donate, https://www.gofundme.com/the-crider-family-fund. Thank you to everyone who can help. Should he pass away, his family will lose everything. Thanks again and God Bless.

Happy Friday Everyone!!! I have been up since about four thirty this morning and sitting here enjoying a hot cup of coffee while it is around forty- two degrees outside. It is Friday and the weekend is here. I have spent the better part of the last four days disinfecting the house to get everyone better from their colds.

I have made my to-do list for today to catch up on things that I haven’t done the last few days. I will be catching up on some writing and editing of books while organizing my file shelf. I am a payee for someone disabled so I had to make up budgets and shopping lists for next month. It has been exhausting the last few days where I have fallen asleep early and without medication.

I feel pretty good and look forward to being productive today and getting things done. The house is pretty quiet right now so it is easy to write this morning. I have come up with some new book ideas and will be getting their outlines done today.

On a health note, my blood sugar levels have been low and steady all week long and I have felt pretty good except for the few times my sugar has dropped causing me to be hypoglycemic. The lowest it has gone is forty-one and to the point of passing out. I had to eat two glucose tablets just to bring it up to seventy- seven.

I am happy to be up this morning and alive so it is now time for me to stop here and get other things done. I wish everyone a blessed day and “Happy Birthday” to all those who have a birthday today. Take care and remember to be nice to each other.

Hey all! How is your day going? My husband and I were up at four thirty this morning drinking coffee with my sister-in-law and I stayed up until about seven o’clock before having to go back to bed to sleep off medication. I feel pretty good this morning and did some errands today.

I am going back to couponing to create a stockpile of stuff again. I find it relaxing and it keeps me focused. Plus, I like saving money. I have bought about five hundred dollars worth of food and only paid one hundred and thirty dollars for it.

I have been editing “The Battle for Joshua” one chapter at a time with two rounds of editing. I have already gone through the whole manuscript with the red pen and now I am using my editing software for the second round. The third round will be having it recorded and listening and following along to see if I missed anything. After that, it goes to an editor for professional editing. I am looking forward to it getting published.

I have already written the third chapter of the next book and will continue to write some more on the book this evening. It will about thirteen chapters and I feel it will be a good story. It is the first book in a series that will be very interesting to read.

Well, I am going to finish this post so that I can begin working on my book again. “Happy Birthday” to all that have a birthday today. Everyone else I hope you have a very pleasant evening. Take care.

Daily Journal 10/15/2017

Good evening, everyone. So sorry for it being so late but was doing some fall cleaning which needed to be done seriously. It has been an exhausting day with all the cleaning and what not but my mood is okay today.

I have been out of my fast acting insulin for a few days now and only surviving on the long-acting which has been doing good keeping my sugar down. I have been watching what I eat so that there are no sugar spikes. I will be going to a convenient care clinic tomorrow to get a prescription for fast-acting insulin because my next primary care doctor appointment isn’t until October thirtieth.

I felt good enough to cook dinner today which was roast with potatoes, carrots, and some onions. It came out so delicious and everyone liked it. I have not cooked a good meal like that in a very long time and told my sister-in-law that we need to go back to having good dinners on Sunday which used to be one of my traditions.

As for my writing, I am working on the second round of editing for “The Battle for Joshua” and have plans to send to the editor around the end of the month. I have begun the fourth chapter of my next book which is the first in a vampire series and I look to reading it when done.

My sleep has been broken again and then I got a call that I cant see my mental health doctor or therapist at this one clinic because of my Medicare insurance. So tomorrow I will be calling another place and seeing what they have to offer. I have seen this doctor before and she prescribed me medication that actually didn’t work for me so I am curious as to what she will give me now?

I am finally winding down being sick and now my husband is sick and not feeling well at all. He brags that he doesn’t get sick but sure enough, he was wrong and has what every other person in this house has and that is an upper respiratory infection with bronchitis. I am finally getting over mine and loving every minute of it because I hate being sick.

I should be able to get back on schedule tomorrow now that I feel better but we will see. I hope everyone had a great weekend and look forward to going back to work tomorrow? To everyone with a birthday today, “Happy Birthday” and everyone else I wish you to have a quiet relaxing night. Take care.

Daily Journal 10/7/2017

Good morning everyone. Happy Saturday! I hope everyone didn’t party too much last night? I went to bed early last night on account of not feeling good mentally and got up early this morning and cleaned the house and I am not sitting here after two cups of coffee drinking a diet soda and getting my daily stuff done.

Everyone is still asleep and it is quiet around here being eight o’clock in the morning. I made my enchilada’s last night for dinner with a small bowl of ice cream for dessert before going to sleep in my husband’s arms. Even the dogs are still in bed with daddy.

I am looking forward to a beautiful day that is overcast right now but it could be raining outside and I would still call it beautiful because the rain washes the air clean of pollutants. I was not able to stick to my goal last night due to mental issues but will be getting them done this morning.

I also need to get some marketing done for my two books that are already published on Amazon so I can see more book sales. I have started chapter three of the new book and it looks promising as far as my friends say because I have given them the first two chapters to read and give me some feedback.

This is the best time for me to write when everyone is still asleep because it is quiet with no distractions except the washing machine since I have many loads of laundry to do today because Saturday is when all rugs and bedding get washed and changed.

I know this is a holiday weekend for most of you and I hope you enjoy it to the fullest. It is time for me to get to work before everyone gets up and to everyone with a birthday today, “Happy Birthday” and everyone else I wish for you to have an awesome Saturday and weekend and may your dreams and aspirations come true for you. Take care.

Daily Journal 10/6/2017

Goodmorning to all. I hope your day is going well? I have been up since six thirty this morning sitting here having coffee with my husband and sister-in-law. I am ready to get my day started and very motivated. It is beautiful outside for a fall morning and I will be sitting outside while completing the first round of editing on “The Battle for Joshua”. I should have it ready for publishing about the first of November.

Everyone here is in good spirits this morning and my mood is good. I slept for a few hours during the night but took a six-hour nap yesterday so I am good with sleep. I am looking forward to a peaceful weekend with no kids here and just us adults. It will be so nice.

So, today’s goal is to finish chapter three of the new book and to get the first round of editing done on the other. I am also going to get the rest of the house cleaned and another short story posted. So it is time to get started and to everyone with a birthday today, “Happy Birthday” and everyone else have an awesome Friday. Take care.

Daily Journal 10/5/2017

Good morning all you special people of the world. It is a great day today and beautiful outside. I went to sleep with my husband last night at two o’clock this morning but woke up at five o’clock this morning fresh and awake. I am sitting here at the kitchen table spending time with my husband while he drinks his coffee and wakes up.

I have been working my schedule this morning and feel pretty good. My mood is in good spirits even though I am still battling being sick and coughing up crap. In a few minutes, I will be working on my next short story for the site and hope everyone has been enjoying my stories?

I am working on finishing the third chapter of my book today and will be editing “The Battle for Joshua” today per my schedule. I should be sending it to the editor on first of the month or sooner so that I can get it out to the public for reading. Well, let me get things going and to everyone with a birthday today, “Happy Birthday” and to everyone else have an awesome day.

Daily Journal 10/4/2017

Hello, everyone. Sorry to have not been here but I have been battling a severe cold with my sinuses and lungs. I am on antibiotics and cough suppressant now which make me a little groggy. I have had no appetite and always sleeping, but I finally got to my primary care doctor and we are working on getting me back to better health.

Today I just found out that the roommates with five kids will be moving out which will take away a lot of stress and drama. It is bad when you are trying to write and listening to a bunch of kids yelling and screaming and the parents do nothing about it.

Today I finished up the second chapter to my next book and began writing the third chapter which I am finding it interesting where my story is taking me. It will be a book series and I look forward to writing each one. I am also learning about myself as I write which is a good thing.

My husband has been very supportive of my writing and he takes care of me when I am sick. I cannot believe I married my best friend and such a loving person as him. I thank each day for God bringing him into my life because I am truly happy with him. He makes me feel like I am somebody.

Well, it is time for me to say goodnight and I wish everyone with a birthday today, “Happy Birthday” and to everyone else have an awesome evening. Take care.
