Daily Journal 5/21/2017

Good morning everyone. I hope everyone is having a wonderful morning. It has been raining here all night which made for some good sleeping. I feel refreshed this morning and ready to get some writing done. I was up until three o’clock yesterday morning working out my goal and deadline calendar for my books and each goal every day is reachable. I have enough books to write until April of next year which should be approximately forty-three books published.

I have been awake for about thirty minutes now and my husband has made me a cup of coffee which tastes very good this morning. It is still a bit overcast outside but it feels fantastic. I look forward to completing my next book by the end of this month and having it ready for editing. It will be a freebie to all my subscribers and a sample of my fictional writing. I have already sold twelve copies of my first published book and I am very proud of that and expect to see that number rise over the next few months.

Well, it is time to get into my writing and I hope and wish everyone an awesome and blessed Sunday. Keep those smiles moving along and making a brighter day for someone else. Be blessed.

Good morning to all my friends and family old and new. It is a beautiful sunny morning here and actually quite cool. You can feel the cool moisture in the air and I hear the birds chirping. My husband is just now getting up and the dogs are still laying around. I have had one cup of coffee and my husband is making the next cup. I am looking forward to the day and my writing which makes me very happy. I was up a little late last night working on my next book. I am currently working on the second chapter and I already have 2500 words written for the current chapter.

I am thoroughly enjoying this book because I can immerse myself into the story and I write what I see and feel. I will have a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction when I am ready to edit this book which will be a freebie. I cannot wait to share my stories with the world and I do believe they will be worth reading. I am very creative and I always find something to create whether it be a drawing I have done, arts and crafts projects which I recently made scented candles for a nonprofit fundraiser to help the homeless and needy families, or writing my books. I love what I do and encourage others to do what they love.

Today looks to be a good day so far and will get right to work on my book shortly. I hope everyone has visited my amazon page to see my first book which I have been told that it is a much-needed book and I feel the rest of the series will be my way of helping others. I would love and appreciate some reviews on it and will be building my ARC team soon for reviews. Well, it is time to get started while I have one and a half cups of coffee in me and I wish everyone a great and blessed day.

Daily Journal 4/18/2017

Good afternoon everyone. How is everyone doing today? I wish I could say things were going good but in all actuality, we just found out that we have a blown head gasket and my husband is trying to fix it. We just got finished ordering the new gasket and we are also having to take our new alternator back due to it being bad. We should have all parts tomorrow afternoon and hopefully be back on the road.

Now as to writing, I finished the first chapter of my first freebie book last night and will begin with today’s writing goal shortly after publishing this post. I had to take a nap this morning because I went to bed early this morning and kept getting up and down for some unknown reason. I do feel pretty good right now and my head is clear. I also started working on a newsletter last night getting it set up has been an awesome experience. I am sort of brainstorming what to exactly put into it, but I will figure it out. I will be adding a sign-up form on my site for those who would like to receive it weekly. It has been an awesome experience finally becoming a published author and the stories just flow. I have every single book outline for every book I want to write this year completed and ready to go.

I know I seem like I’m rambling but that is just the excitement of moving forward. It is a beautiful day outside after a thunderstorm that lasted throughout the night and the critters are doing their thing. Well, I need to get writing so that I can hit my goal for the day. I wish everyone of my friends and family an awesome and blessed day.

Happy Easter Everyone!! Has the bunny come to see you yet? I want pictures when he does. Lol. I am feeling pretty good today because one, the producer accepted my offer to make my book into an audiobook. I am very excited it should be out at the end of the month. So, how is everyone this beautiful day? I am finishing an outline for my next book which will be a freebie and I will begin writing it tomorrow. I am still working on the second book in my series and it is a beast because it is full of so much information. So, I will be working on it over the weekends while writing my other books during the week.

My husband is a tech geek and is sitting here hooking up the surround sound to the television. Every time he gets something new he can’t wait to play with it. He is just a big kid but I love him anyway. Things have finally settled down since we moved from the tent to the garage and there is so much room and a nice breeze during the day. I am hopeful that we can be in the house mid-May. I want the inspections done the first week of May and then it will be waiting on the utilities to be turned on and the internet set up. I look forward to it. I want to be in my own house.

Other than that I have been also working on another site which is titled “You Don’t Have to Be A Victim” where I share my story and events throughout my life in hopes that it will help someone else. There are too many things going on in the world and people should not have to be victims of anything posted on the site. I want to be a mentor as well as an author. So, if you want to check out my site I am leaving the link below this posting and all comments are appreciated. Well, it is time for me to get busy and again, I wish everyone a blessed and happy Easter day.

Good morning to all my friends and family old and new. It is a gorgeous Spring day here with the sun shining and the woodpeckers doing their thing. Well, it is official, our tent is unlivable. The last thunderstorm we had with high winds ripped the whole backside of the tent at the bottom. We are moving up to the garage where we can stay out of the weather. It will only be for about a month because my goal is to have the house inspected during the first week of May and be in it by the middle of May. I am staying positive because we put too much money into this house to let it go now.

Today is a good day too. It is also shopping day for food. There are some pretty good deals going on that I am going to take advantage of. My husband hates to go shopping with me but I feel it is spending quality time with each other. Now, as far as my writing is concerned I have almost all of my outlines done for my coming books and the freebies too. When it comes time to write that book the outline is already done and I just need to pull it and begin writing the book.

Well, I need to get going I have many things to do today and time is wasting away so I hope everyone has a great day and be blessed.

Daily Journal 4/10/2017

Good morning everyone!! Such a beautiful day outside and peaceful. I have had my cup of coffee and I am now ready to get my day started. I hope everyone had a great weekend? As for myself, I have been sitting outside on a blanket brainstorming some books and enjoying the outdoors. I keep telling my husband it is time to start going fishing which I love to do in my free time. I find that very relaxing too but not as much as writing.

I am going to be working on my marketing strategy today and advertising my book everywhere I can. Becoming a published author was a goal for me and I am so glad that I accomplished it. It feels good to know that my story is being told and I hope that it helps so many people.

I have my to-do list ready for today and I will be going through receipts for my nonprofit organization so that I may complete its tax return. A percentage of my royalties will go towards the organization so that I may continue to help the homeless and poverished families. That too was a goal for me since I spent twenty-three years being homeless. I have compassion for those still out there trying to survive and want to help them become self-sufficient before they die out there.

Well, this will be all for now but I wish everyone an awesome Monday and a blessed one. Keep those heads up and those smiles going because anything is possible.

Daily Journal 4/3/2017

Today I came home but my day started off crappy because when I went to get in the car to go it wouldn’t start. I tried several times and then it would start, run for a few minute’s, then it would die. My sister-in-law’s fiancee had to drive out to pick up my husband to come fix it. When he arrived he instantly found out the problem and corrected it and then we drove home. When we pulled into the driveway, we were met by my other dogs who were ecstatic to see me. I want to say it felt good to be home, but it really wasn’t. I was happy to be reunited with my husband and dogs, but I seemed to get depressed with the thought of being here again.

I appreciate everything my father-in-law has done for us but his wife just gets under my skin too quickly. Everything was going great today until I went to make some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches since that was all we ate today when my step-mother-in-law started in on me again about how we need to help pay their bills and put food in the house. I have already explained to my husband why I refuse to put any food in their house because one, our food money has gone way down below a hundred dollars, and two, she wastes so much food. She could make a full pot of spaghetti that we eat half of at dinner and then wants to throw the rest to her dogs.

She doesn’t believe in leftovers except for her nasty pinto beans that we have to have two nights in a row. We took care of them for almost seven months with food and paid half of their electric bill for a couple of months and that doesn’t mean anything to her. We are living in a tent and running power by a drop chord so I know that we are not running that much electric but she has to complain about everything except for her side of the family who can do no wrong. They are perfect and better than everyone else.

Anyway, we are going to sit down with them tomorrow and talk and we might just have to leave and be out in the streets until we get this house inspected which now has been pushed to the first week of May due to financial reasons. We gave them the last thirty dollars we have and it isn’t good enough for her. So, whatever happens tomorrow I will keep you updated.

On a quick brighter note, I have got my whole plan of writing set up for the rest of the year. I have my goals set in place and will work towards that to keep my spirits up. Well, I wish everyone a good night and sweet dreams. Be blessed.

Daily Journal 3/21/2017

Good morning to all my friends and family old and new. I have been up since four o’clock this morning and having my big cup of coffee while I sit here writing this daily journal post. Whether you believe it or not I do care about everyone having a good and positive day. I am doing good this morning mentally and slept a good eight hours so I feel well rested even though it is taking me a few minutes to get my composure.

Yesterday we all went to the house to finish the wiring and now to fix the plumbing which we found out that the previous tenant had taken apart all the plumbing underneath the bathroom floor which isn’t hard to fix. We are even going to change out the old iron pipes for new PVC piping and run a new line of plumbing to the septic tank. It should only take a day or so to fix the plumbing. We just have to wait until the first of the month when we will have gas to commute to the house which is twenty-five miles from where we are now.

It is quiet right now because my husband and the dogs are in the bed asleep and all I hear is the morning train going by and the crickets. Yesterday was the first day of Spring and I am so glad. It is time to get some warm weather and stop being so cold. I have arthritis and with it being cold my whole body aches.

It is now official that I begin writing my second book today. I have my research done and notes organized so that I may begin writing today and expect it to take me at least three to four weeks to write as far as my schedule is concerned. My goal is to have at least three books written and ready to be published in June for which I am excited.

I am looking to become a full-time author to share my stories with the world. They will mostly be fictional but occasionally a non-fiction here and there. I got quite a few likes on one of my chapters that I posted and I thank you all for that. It made me feel good about my writing and gives me encouragement to continue.

Well, it is time to get to work before the hubby and dogs wake up. I wish everyone a great and awesome day. Take care and remember to keep sharing those smiles.

Daily Journal 3/19/2017

Greetings everyone! What a wonderful day to be alive. The sun is shining, birds chirping, and a nice breeze blowing. Well, I got half of the garage cleaned yesterday and until the guys move the stack of wood tomorrow to the house then I can clean the rest. I am doing laundry today and the tent is cleaned, the dogs are laying outside the tent in the sun. It is an awesome day.

I am feeling pretty good today and ready for whatever the day throws at me. My husband is playing his video games and giving me peace and quiet to do some writing. I worked on some more research and notes last night and will be finishing them up after writing this journal entry. After I finish writing down the rest of my research notes I will be implementing them into my writing software to organize. I plan to begin writing that book tomorrow as expected and look forward to spending probably about a month on writing it.

If you want to see what all the books in the series will be about, I will be posting the book covers for them on the book launch information page of this site directly after posting this journal entry as well. The dates below the last three are approximate publishing dates due to the graphic nature detailed in each one. Writing them will cause me to have to remember each event and reliving them again in my mind so it might take a minute to write them. I will keep them updated in case the dates change.

After publishing this, I will also be posting a chapter from the first book. Just keep in mind that it still needs professional editing before publishing. It will give you an idea of what things the book will be talking about. I feel good about sharing my story and helping someone else through my experiences.

Well, it is time for me to get started and I wish everyone a great and blessed day. 🙂

Daily Journal 3/18/2017

Hello, everyone. It is such a beautiful day outside. It is sunny with some clouds and that is because the wind is blowing the storm clouds in, but it is still beautiful. It sure does beat the cold and freezing temperatures, the rain, and the snow. I am ready for Spring. I didn’t get to bed until around four this morning and my husband woke me up around noon just so he could go back to bed. 🙂 I am sitting here drinking some ice tea because it was too hot and humid when I woke up to drink any coffee. My motivation is picking up a little and I have some projects to complete here today before sitting down comfortably to write.

I am feeling pretty good right now and my energy is getting better, still a little congested but it will go away eventually. I am excited about getting some short stories posted today on my blog sites and finishing my note organization to begin writing the second book on Monday. There is just so much research and information going into this second book and that is mostly the reason for it taking so long to begin writing. It will be a novel and not a novella.

Today I have a garage to clean out and organize, a tent to straighten up, I need to put some ice and water bottles in the cooler, and a rabbit to feed. 🙂 I guess I should also add cleaning out the car to that list as well. As much as I would just love to sit here and write, I can not resolve to forget about my other responsibilities. When we were living in a house the first thing I did every day after coffee was to clean the house and take care of feeding the dogs before doing anything else. That was my routine because I could not get comfortable until the house was clean and smelling good.

Well, enough about what I have to do and get up and start doing it. I will be back later and I hope everyone has a great and blessed Saturday.
